Lucknow Super Giants Overpower Gujarat Titans with Dominant All-Round Display

Lucknow Super Giants produced an overpowering display to defeat Gujarat Titans by six wickets in a pulsating IPL 2025 encounter. The game had it all - intelligent bowling, explosive hitting, and demonstrated why LSG is turning out to be a robust team this season. But Pant got out for 21 by Prasidh Krishna ending the opening partnership. But that also caused more issues for GT.

Nicholas Pooran joined and started attacking straightaway. He did not show any fear and attacked the spin bowlers with full confidence. Pooran hit three sixes off Sai Kishore and went to his fourth fifty of the season in a hurry. He scored a courageous knock of 61 off only 34 balls. On the other end Markram went on with his good batting. His 58 from 31 balls was replete with classy shots and sound judgment. He kept the chase going and was subsequently awarded Player of the Match for his vital innings. When Pooran was out Ayush Badoni took up the mantle and made sure there were no surprises. His serene 28 not out ended the match in style and LSG completed the target with six wickets in hand.

Their batting was aggressive and intent-packed particularly from Markram and Pooran.
