The Motor City Machine Guns are officially part of WWE!
In an online segment, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley signed their contracts to join SmackDown, handing them over to General Manager Nick Aldis. During the signing, Aldis informed them that their initial match against Los Garza would now be a triple threat, including former champions A-Town Down Under (comprised of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller).
In addition to this exciting announcement, a second triple threat tag team match is set to take place on SmackDown featuring The Street Profits, Pretty Deadly, and DIY. The winners of both triple threat matches will clash next week, with the ultimate victors earning a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships currently held by The Bloodline (comprised of Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa).
Leading up to their signing, WWE aired several vignettes that teased the arrival of a new tag team, featuring imagery from Detroit, Michigan, and fast cars. One of last week's videos displayed the initials "MCMG," hinting at their arrival. Additionally, Aldis mentioned that Los Garza would have a match against an unnamed tag team, stating that if they won, they would secure a title shot.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the debut of the Motor City Machine Guns as they step into WWE's tag team division!
