Reports suggest that MI aims to acquire wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan during the auction and will use their Right to Match (RTM) option for Tim David.

Lucknow SuperGiants: Retention and Leadership Decisions

On the other hand, the Lucknow SuperGiants are likely to retain two uncapped players, Ayush Badoni and pacer Mohsin Khan, along with the explosive West Indian batsman Nicholas Pooran. However, the franchise has yet to make a definitive decision regarding their captain, KL Rahul. Currently, Rahul is engaged in the ongoing Test series against New Zealand at home.
