Sacked Erik Ten Hag Wishes 'Trophies and Glory' for Manchester United

After being dismissed due to a disappointing start to the season, Erik ten Hag expressed his best wishes for Manchester United, hoping for "nothing but success, trophies, and glory." The announcement of his departure came shortly after the appointment of Ruben Amorim as his permanent successor, who will take over on November 11.

Ten Hag's tenure saw notable achievements, including winning the League Cup and finishing third in the Premier League in 2023, followed by an FA Cup victory over Manchester City. However, the current season saw United struggling, culminating in an eighth-place league finish that ultimately led to his sacking.

In a heartfelt statement released by his representatives, Ten Hag thanked the fans for their unwavering support, acknowledging their presence during both home and away matches. "Your support has been unshakeable," he noted, reflecting on the electric atmosphere at Old Trafford and the backing he received from fans across various venues.
