As India prepares for their four-match T20I series against South Africa, captain Suryakumar Yadav is in line to break several key records in the shortest format of the game. The 34-year-old, who made his T20I debut in 2021 against England, has been one of the most explosive batters in T20 internationals. With 74 T20Is under his belt, Yadav has scored 2,544 runs at a remarkable strike rate of 169.48 and an average of 42.40. He has also notched up four centuries and 21 half-centuries.
In the upcoming series, Suryakumar has the chance to become the leading run-scorer in T20Is between India and South Africa.
